About
Since 1985, The Empowerment Program has provided reentry services for women leaving prisons and jails, primarily serving cisgender and transgender women with criminal justice involvement and/or homelessness. Programs include education, employment assistance, health services, housing referrals, substance use treatment, and the WAGEES vocational program in partnership with Stout Street Health Center.
